Audrey J. Rice

1920 – 2011

 

Audrey J. Rice, 91, of Glasgow, MO, formerly of Kansas City and Sedalia, went to join her Lord December 19, 2011 at Cooper County Hospital in Boonville, MO.

She was born December 8, 1920 in Sedalia to the late Wm. E. and Rosealee Hall on February 8, 1958 in Miami, OK.  She was married to the Foster J. Rice who preceded her in death.

Audrey was a member of Northgate Baptist Church in KC, where she and her husband were charter members.  She attended Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia.  Audrey was a loving wife, mother and sister.

She is survived by four siblings, Leona Payne of Glasgow, Vi Urton of Raymore, James and Bill Hall of Sedalia, and 11 nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Kevin, one granddaughter, three brothers, Louis, Robert and Harold, and one sister, Mary Jane.

Pallbearers will be Bill Rice, Russell Hall, Larry Arnold, Steven Worley, Andrew Worley and Zachary Worley.

Graveside service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Gladstone, MO, Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 11am.  The body will lie in state from 2-6pm, Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at   Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow.
