Irma Sophie Linneman was born in Forest Green, MO on September 8, 1911 to Louis and Sophie (Kothe) Freese.  She attended and graduated 8th grade from Salem Lutheran School.  On November 12, 1931 Irma married Orin Fred Linneman at Salem Lutheran Church.  He preceded her in death on April 7, 1984.

Mrs. Linneman was a devout member of Salem Lutheran Church her entire life.  She will be remembered for being an avid seamstress and great cook.  She would prepare food whenever there was a need and on occasion, she would make a dish for the local pastor.  Orin and Irma owned and operated a pecan business for a number of years in the Chariton County bottoms.   Her caring spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Irma is survived by two daughters, Loretta (Bill) Gebhardt of Salisbury, MO and
Shirley (Bob) Manlove of Kansas City, MO, 7 grandchildren, 14
great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and
husband, Irma was preceded in death by one sister, Selma Rohwer, three brothers, Rudolph, Victor, and Martin Freese, one son, Gary, one great-grandson, Bobby Mason, and one granddaughter, Connie (Manlove) Soden.

Services for Mrs. Linneman will be 11AM, Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Salem
Lutheran Church in Forest Green with Pastor Laurence Carlson officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  A Visitation will be held 6-8pm
Friday evening at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Chapel in Glasgow.

Memorials are suggested to the Lutheran Braille Workers, Lutheran Hour, or Salem Lutheran Cemetery, in care of Friemonth-Freese Funeral Service,
