Jaykeb Minor

1984 – 2011

 

Jaykeb Owen Minor died suddenly July 21, 2011 in Fayette , MO.  He was 27 years of age.  

 

Mr. Minor was born May 11, 1984 in Columbia , MO to Leslie Jay and Teri D. (Smith) Minor.  He graduated from Glasgow High School in 2002. He had worked at Monnig Industries in Glasgow after high school.  He enjoyed fishing, riding four wheelers, playing video games, drawing and spending time with his children. 

 

He is survived by his three children, Austyn, Mariyah and Makaylee and their mother Heather McCart all of Bunceton, his father, Jay of Glasgow, two brothers, Brayden Minor of Armstrong and Tyler Seifert of Jefferson City, his step-mother, Tracy Minor of Glasgow, his grandfather, Larry Minor of Indiana, great grandmother, Oneta Pierce and aunt, Teri Leimkuehler both of Gilliam and a number of relatives and friends.  Jayke was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.

 

A memorial service will be 7 PM, Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow with Rev. Tom Rowland officiating.  Visitation will be two hours before the service 5 to 7 PM.  Memorials are suggested to the Jayke Minor Children’s Fund or Family’s Choice.
