| . Gail Taylor 1934 - 2011 Ramon Gail Taylor passed away at Boone Hospital Center February 7, 2011. He was 76 years of age. Mr. Taylor was born October 26, 1934 in Jasper County, Iowa to Vern Jasper and Velma L. Cushatt Taylor. He was a graduate of Fayette High School class of 1954. He married Virginia (Snookie) Johnmeyer December 15, 1957 at Moniteau Chapel. Gail farmed and operated a well known auto repair and salvage business for a number of years. He enjoyed fishing and being around his family when he had the time. Survivors included his wife of the home, two sons, Dan Taylor of New Franklin and Nick Taylor of Fayette and one daughter, Trish and husband Tyra Elliott of Fayette, five grandchildren, Samantha and Brittany Elliott, Ian, Terry and Chelsea Taylor, one brother, Duane Taylor of Fayette, two sisters, Mary Jane Pierce of Armstrong and Linda Yaeger of Columbia and a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Sandy and Shirley. A memorial service will be 1:30 PM, Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Gary Powell officiating. A Visitation will be one hour before the service. Memorials are suggested to Family’s Choice in care of Friemonth-Freese Funeral Service, 174 Hwy 5 & 240 N Fayette, MO 65248.
