| . Raymond Peacher 1935 - 2011 Raymond William Peacher passed away at his home in rural Fayette August 8, 2011. He was 76 years of age. Mr. Peacher was born February 4, 1935 near Fayette to William Wallace and Mary Lou (Daly) Peacher. He worked in the grocery and restaurant businesses in several western states for a number of years. Raymond served in the U.S. Army in the 1958 and 1959. For several years in the mid 60's, he owned and operated the Knotty Pine Restaurant in Fayette. Survivors include his two brothers, Don Peacher and Gary Peacher and his wife, Sherry all of Columbia, MO and two sisters, Fran Johnson of Harrisburg and Nancy Wiswall of Rocheport. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Peacher. It was Raymond’s request not to have a memorial service.
